My Corner: Halloween Weekend

Pretty much the whole crew went out yesterday for Halloween, albeit on slightly different schedules.

We had a bad ass time. We did get off to a late start though. We (Me,Liz,Mario,Brit) were supposed to leave at 2 but Mario and Brittany weren't ready until about 4. So we took off kinda late but things went smoothly after that--for the most part. We bought some liquor and food then pretty much just hung out and got a little pre-flight going while we were waiting for everyone else to show up. We had planned to go swimming, but since we got there late the girls didn't think they had enough time to redo their hair after.

Joy and Tommy got there and since the rest of the group was nowhere to be found we left for dinner. The guys just wanted to grab some KFC from across the street, but Brittany had made reservations and Joy also wanted to go so we went. We went to a place called Buca's. The thing there was that we all shared our food. It was allright.

Anyway, by the time we were done, the rest of the group was waiting for us at the lobby. After a frenzied change into our costumes we were off. We went to club Aqua. It was already 11 by the time we got in and it was very crowded, but once we all got there it was a really good time. I introduced Nancy and Jeff and seemed to get along pretty well. Jeff even got out on the dance floor and did his groove-thing. I got a lot of props for my devil costume, I think we should have all gone scary.

The end of the night involved some raucous behavior by the bouncers. An altercation started up about 15 minutes before closing time over Mario's prop cowboy gun, and I ended up getting kicked out of the club. Not far behind me was Lizzy and Cris. Some asshole bouncer was manhandling Lizzy and we ended up in a little scuffle outside the bar. Somehow he got cut up and then the cops got involved. The bouncers were taking things to the next level and it seemed like the cops saw that they were being the aggressors so eventually (after about 45 mins!) the cops just told us that we could leave.

All in all it was an awesome Halloween night, I wish we had more pics, but here's what we do have.
