First nice day out

And the first casualty. The kids and I put on out blades for the first time this summer, and Keila ended up on the asphalt . Unfortunately mija didn't have her pads on, but luckily she did have jeans on. The jeans definitely saved her, she even left some on the hard rough ground. Ouch.

oooooh, man!

Thankfully the jeans saved her skin, and she's light enough where her knees didn't get hurt.

Liz represented as well, she broke out her bike but hopefully this will be the year she learns to blade.
