Simon says rotate

I started my last temp placement this Monday. I'm inwhat some would consider a not so highly revered group and various people have let me know how bad they feel. Ok, I'm not too excited either, but so far it's been fine. I actually started working on some pretty cool stuff. I did get a taste of what people seem to dread--the random assigning of tedious tasks to the first person in sight. I said I'm willing to help, but I don't know anything about what they want me to do. Yes I told the damn truth. I get the feeling everyone just says "yessir, yessir, three bags full", then they wine the job sucks. Other than that and some mildly annoying mm-ent, things are off to a good start.

Funny thing I heard at work:
Some guy says:
"If it's about girth then I'll have no problem," then I hear a girl fire off genuine laughter

On the Interstate I saw a guy playing a trumpet, no really--cheeks bulging, red faced, and eyes half closed. He was passing me!

Roger Huerta won last Saturday--Hell Yeah!!!

I'm forgetting some crap but it's late, whatever.

10 days till TX!!

  1. I heard this at work on the way to meet Erik for coffee while three people walked in front of me at a speed that can only be described as glacial - one of the women said, "I have two jobs, and the guy from the other job, he's not really stalking me, but he is calling obsessively."

I kept thinking, "He should stalk you instead. You're really slow."
