Facebook - it lets people say things that they would otherwise (rightly) keep to themselves. Hate someone on your friends list? Attack'em in a passive-agressive , seemingly innocuous way - remember there's no "don't like" button. Feeling self-righteous? Go Ahead spout off on fb, no one will challenge you and your closest friends will justify your post. Want to seem cultured and deep? Write some obscure meaningless garbage on your wall, then wait and revel in the glory of condescendig to all with not the slightest repercussion. Just decide that you're the smarter than all your fb friends? Giv'em an example of how bright you are and watch'em grow your post to the size of your ego as they assure you of your intelligence. Chill peeps, chill --- as coney would say - stay cool my babies!
Want to counter this trend? Challenge someone's post in an appropriate, but honest manner. F this passive-aggressive crap.
